SARAH BIANCO JUNIOR ASSOCIATE - OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Sarah graduated from the University of Malta, with Honours, in Occupational Therapy in 2015 and has been working as an occupational therapist ever since. She later read for her Master’s degree with University of Birmingham, and attained her Master’s in Education (Inclusion and Special Educational Needs) with Distinction in 2019. She has worked within various clinic settings and with individuals of different ages and abilities. Throughout her clinical experience and research, she has developed a keen interest in working with children and adolescents having neuro-developmental conditions - specifically those with Autism and ADHD – as well as with those experiencing various mental health difficulties.
Sarah has also received training leading to a Certificate in Ayres Sensory Integration and is also trained in the use of the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Feeding Approach, which is a program for assessing and intervening with children who have feeding difficulties. Additionally, Sarah is also trained in administering the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), which is a standardized diagnostic test for diagnosing and assessing for Autism.
