PSYCHOLOGy AssistantRole Definition & Competencies:
The Psychology Assistant at Polaris is a graduate in Psychology or similar discipline, with a keen interest to learn about the nature of Interdisciplinary teams in the Wellbeing sector. They will be serving as a part of the management team and the primary function of this junior role will be the overall support, shadowing and assistance of the senior and managing psychologists, in case work and the overall running of an interdisciplinary service. The role will involve client relations, admin work, and coordination of the service, with a lot of potential for learning and growth. Other responsibilities may include overseeing of the operation of the wellbeing services, data management, policy formation, and other requirements as the role may demand, or as desired by the candidate. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation, learning agility with a drive to learn, excellence orientation with a sharp eye for detail, a foundation in psychological knowledge and helping skills, an ethical, honest, reliable and dependable character, top organisational skills and diligence. Candidates with sunny dispositions and a creative flare will be given preference. Other Details: Successful candidates will be working a 40hr week, on a full-time contract basis, and within a very pleasant environment.
