Marie Claire graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from the University Of Malta, with honours. Having always been an eager learner, Marie Claire continued to advance in education by pursuing an M.Sc in Psychological Wellbeing and Mental Health in the UK (Nottingham Trent University), complemented with a Masters of Psychology in Counselling Psychology, from University Of Malta. She has years of experience providing therapeutic support in various settings, having worked with individuals who have been experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, self-awareness and self-esteem issues, feeding and eating disorders, addiction, obsessive thoughts, challenging behaviour and learning difficulties.
Marie Claire considers herself to be a positive person who strives to contribute wholeheartedly to others whilst supporting them in their journey of growth, healing and development. She is warm, kind and keen on prioritizing one’s wellbeing, especially in the face of challenging impasses. She believes people are much more than what may have happened to them in life, and it is imperative for her to support people in tough times and in helping them bring out their full potential. When not engaged in work-related commitments, Marie Claire enjoys time at the beach, swimming, time with friends, experimenting in the kitchen, listening to music and travelling.
