about us
The Polaris concept was born out of the recognition of the need for a more comprehensive, integrated, client-centered approach to mental health and wellbeing. Over the last 20 years a number of mental health and wellbeing professionals were working independently, yet feeling the need to connect with other professionals to further support client care. This is how it all began.
Unlike traditional organisations where clients have access to a range of professionals and services, the Polaris interdisciplinary approach involves team members from different disciplines working collaboratively, sharing expertise and sharing resources in their pursuit of client well-being. These professionals don’t just talk the talk, they walk the walk. Polaris is founded upon our Interdisciplinary therapeutic model, with our team of top professionals and specialists, developing client-centred, solution-focused approaches and care-plans, for individuals and organisations. At Polaris our team meetings are central to our work ethic, and we always find a way to remain united and cohesive. An Interdisciplinary approach is considered best practice as it allows for the synthesis of different ways of understanding, offered across disciplines. Given our complexity as human beings, it is with good reason that individual professionals and their disciplines acknowledge their limitations when working with clients. The interdisciplinary approach challenges the rigidity of understanding a case from any one discipline’s perspective. Each professional team member, possesses unique contributions to relevant cases. At the heart of our organisation is our Well-Being Factory, designed to be conducive to well-being, facilitating onsite access for both individuals and companies, both locally and globally. We also offer offsite and online interventions. When you access the services at Polaris, you access a team of specialists, dedicated to seeing you thrive through treatments or therapies that are suited to who you are and what you need. |
